If that's the same movie as "The Last Mimsy" then it's pretty horrifying all by itself, no need for Hellraiser to get involved.
I've actually never heard of this movie before seeing this post, but from what folks are telling me know it's definitely something to check out. Bunny from the Future (not named Frank) steals children souls to save the future? The crap?

I don't know, that Mimzy box looks like a (Phantasm?) sphere within a Lament configuration frame. Almost like a prototype Lemarchand's box.
I wonder if something like this one showed up in the background of the Hellraiser movies, when multiple boxes were shown.
