Wow! Good article, but it was kinda hard to read due to the awfulness of the film described. Like a cinematic black hole. Shame too, because the concept of combining animation and horror films is kinda cool. In fact, that was the original concept for Cool World, which sounds waaaaaaaay better than the final product. It's true, look it up on Wikipedia.
Also, are ya taking any suggestions for films to review this Halloween? Because I sent you a list with a ton of them. Plus an email before that with some other things (An explaination for one of those things is in the other e-mail, that being that I thought material for an article BECAUSE it's so horrifying. You'll understand when you read it)...
My e-mail adress is written as my name, just so ya know who I am when you're checking your e-mail.
PS. Yes I know it's a little odd to ask you to respond to my e-mails by blog response, but I didn't want to annoy you by sending another e-mail.
PPS. Sorry for the run-on response.
HEY! Glad you're back.
That review made me cry inside. I think my eyes are trying to work themselves out of my head.
I really need to question on the budget of this movie. In your article, you said it cost two thousand dollars to make. But accorning to the wiki, the second one cost an estimated $175,000. And just looking at bits and pieces of the two movies, they're still both crappy looking movies. Which leads me to ask: Why does one crappy movie cost more then the other?
To answer your question...I don't rightly know. Terror Toons 2 is a heck of a lot better than the first one....but to be 173,000 dollars better? Not so sure. It might have more to do with it NOT being a Brain Damage film. More likely, it's because it had a cast twice as big as Terror Toons 2 which was made up of actual actors. There's a lot less Porn Actresses in the film and a lot more of, well, real actors. The 2nd one even has Brinke Stevens, an awesome lady in Bad Movie circles. Look her up...she's been in so many horrible films it hurts.
So yeah, no clue, but Terror Toons 2 is more "legit" a film than the other which might explain why it cost so much more to produce. Either that or the director spent over $100,000 on blow and hookers.

PS: Terror Toons the original cost 2,000 according to the commentary/interviews on the DVD. It's hilarious listening to how proud the crew is of it.
Umm... Jared, howcome you haven't responded to my post about the e-mails? I know you probably are a little annoyed about my badgering you on your blog, but if you're thinking "I'm busy, but I'll get around to replying eventualy" or (if you've read said e-mails) "You disgust me" while reading my post, I would really prefer you actually write it down as a response rather than me just waiting in vain to hear from you. Could you please at least grant me that request?
Love that!
kisses!
