Holy Crap. Again, Holy Crap. Delays.

If some of you are wondering where your Halloween paintings are....gah. Part of my Halloween/Birthday (yeah, I wasn't able to update for my Birthday...there would have been digital cake for all I assure you) was me getting a new computer. It's awesome....400 gigs of glorious "no more questions" space (No I'm not talking about porn [I'm totally talking about porn] you perverts), more speed than I'll ever need, and, well, lots of bells and whistles including new programs and the technology I need to actually make the website decent, as I've always planned.

So what went wrong?

Day 1 of new computer.....I wake up...it's frozen. I reboot. It won't start up again because it's missing a file. No safe mode, no prompts...just "Computer Say No, Hahahahahahaha" (I paraphrase). Back-up on floppy? Oh wait, the floppy drive doesn't work. What to do, what to do. No internet so.....long story short. It's been several weeks and finally I've got a computer. It's still screwy and not wanting to accept scans and, well, user input, but things are getting back to normal. So sorry guys. I have Halloween Articles but I haven't been able to upload them as well as tons of paintings.

It'll be fixed soon, just wanted to send a signal flare up so you knew what was going on.

Election Aftermath: It's fun to be Wrong.

2 years ago when I first heard Obama's name, I really thought it was an Osama bin Laden typo. My news source is infamous for them and, well, yeah. I still say everyone on facebook changing their middle name to Hussein was a little surreal...I kept remembering the whole "weapons of mass destruction" fiasco and, well, yeah. Anyway....Woot! Election day: You have no idea how happy I am to NOT have a president that's almost 3 times my age and well past the legal age of retirement in a lot of industries. :relief:

But now? Now I have to say it's fun to be wrong. 2 years ago I also made a comic about the man. Check it out and accept my confession of shame.

Comic: :sigh:

Thanks America for proving me wrong.

Guest Comic: Guest Strip Project

A while back I met this guy named Mike at the UK Webcomic Thing. Nice guy, psychotically passionate about webcomics. He's the guy behind that Webcomic Nudie Calendar known as Tastefully Done:
Photobucket
And while it's out of print now, those of you who did buy a copy should look forward to an illustration of Naked me with Santa Claus when December hits.
Anyway, Mike started this other project (and yet ANOTHER PROJECT) to raise money for the Make-a-Wish Foundation. He's a nice guy and he likes getting folks to do guest comics. If you check out his "Guest Strip Project" today, you'll see my contribution. I'm not too happy with it but introducing you guys to a wonky webcomic idea is worthwhile, particularly when charity's involved. Don't get any ideas though... Here's where I'd put an "all your charity are belong to us" joke, but I really don't think anyone out there wants to read that kind of thing. So check out the strip and poke around. It's very, very surreal...particularly the abstract narrative thread that's bopping in the ghost world between strips.

(A message for those living in the FUTURE: If you're not reading the blog in real time (no clue what that means) my strip went up November 2nd, 2008.

Oh and on Halloween: I'm SCRAMBLING to finish these paintings. Stop sending me awesome costumes! I feel guilty when I don't paint them.

Halloween 2008: Sorry for the delay...

Last night: Movie Marathon including Halloween, Midnight Meat Train, Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer, and Poultrygeist.

Today? Rocky Horror being screen in my very own home, complete with costumes. I make a mean Riff Raff, if you must know.

Monday? Monday I'll finally be posting up ALL the costume paintings as well as at least one certain review that I've been working on.

Hint:

Photobucket

It features a (hideous) baby in a blender.
Sweet dreams.
