7 Days.....

Image hosting by Photobucket
I don't do hype, so just believe me when I say I'm more excited about this than you.
The Art Crash 214 will be here in 7 days. 7 days from now I will wake up, start painting whatever anyone requests and whatever comes to mind until 214 hours are up. Painting one an hour, the math's easy to figure out if you want to know how many of these things I should have after (about) 9 days are up. There's going to be theme days/nights thrown in there (as well as at least one 24 hourly comic). An evil friend has even suggested a "Leaving Las Vegas" evening, where I try to paint under the influence for as long as I can. The Webcam/Skype idea is progressing and I'll let you know what's going on in the next few days in regards to that. If you'd like to suggest something Theme-related (keep those painting requests to yourself until next week) feel free to go ahead.
Art Crashes always feel like Christmas to me.

Waiting for this...Maybe you'll lose all feeling in your painting hand. Forever. And ever. Amen.

Jared, I am blown away. I didn't get any work done because I have spent a couple of hours since Rachel's email forwarded by CLL, now CLS I guess. Your sketches/comics are powerfull representations of our reality. And your technique has developed to the point of be unselfconscious - artless - and tasteless. Congratulations, (may I call you grandson?). Julien
ps You inspired me to get back to my long neglected website. You did this only using Front Page? I'll have to take another look.

Considering some of the stuff I talk about here on the site, it still freaks me out to find that I've got relatives lurking here.

Then again, the Pornographic Nightmare page opens with "Mom, please stop reading this"...so I can't totally deny that the possibility has crossed my mind.
